no, actually I think military men would be great men 2 get involved with I believe they will be true and they are brave for wanting to make the country safe for every one I just thing women are afraid of losing some one and getting hurt and no its not fair 2 military men

Military men have a bad rap because of how they are portray- over seas, hookers and prostitutes, lots of beer, fighting and being away from home. Whether or not each individual military man is this way and does these things is strictly on a person to person basis. And no, I don't think this is fair for you guys. You are being punished for all the unfaithful, non trustworthy guys out there. Sorry!

Not all women are like that, and I think if you come to the UK or Ireland you would see that. However military men do get a bad press for being a love them and leave them types but I know they not all like this (even after having my heart broken). So been its just you are looking in all the wrong places?

While many left-leaning women may have a political objection to your career, some of what you may be experiencing is fear. Some women are afraid that they will get married, then have their husband called away, maybe even killed. This is not really fair, but it's how it works. The right person for you will be able to overcome this, though it may take a while to find her.

When I was in my 20's I dated a few guys in the airforce. There were 2 reasons for me that I was afraid to get involved.
1. They were more into their job/airforce/military than they were into me. I wanted to be FIRST! and did not want to be secondary to their career.
2. It takes a very very strong and mature woman to be alone so much, especially with small children. I did not think that I wanted to suffer the lonliness when he was gone. It would hurt too much.
That's just my take on it.
But I did like the cool muscles. :)

They might just be using that statement as an excuse not to date you because I would date a military man that I was attracted to and most women would date a military man they were attracted to. Keep trying soldier -- you'll find one soon. And take care out there.

I don't know that afraid is the right word. You can generally only depend on being in a particular location two or three years and some women want a partner who is going to stay put. It's just one of many hazards in the career you have chosen.

I think some are afraid because of all the time they know would be spent apart. That can be very lonely. I'm sure they are scared too of losing them as well. No, it is not fair to them. You/they are serving our country to make it a safer and better place for all of us. They should be honored to be with you . . . . but I can also see why they are afraid.

I think it's their fear of not being able to be around you much, not being able to call when they feeel like it, or stop by your place and suprise you.
Their also affraid for your saftey!! They don't want to fall madly in love and be hurt and scared if they hear you won't be coming home again.
NO, it's not fair to you what so ever!! Your defending your country adn you'd think you'd be loved and respected more than most, but that's not the case for these young glas wanting to find love!!
I love and respect all of you in the Military! I'm too old for any solider to be attracted to me though! hahahaha

if i were single id have no problem with it and i really like the uniforms but from talking about this before with my mates i think its because everything is so military with yous and yous are very stricked on time keeping and always like to follow routine theres not much surprise with yous cause everything has to be planned thats what came of our conversation anyway but no i dont think its fair and i dont want to steriotype yous either
