The cat should start feeling better within 3 to 5 days.
BUT, your Vet should have told you what to expect.
Two of our four cats have had URI's in the past and the Vet always says they may look and feel better in a few days, but to keep giving them the antibiotics for 10 days.

If you're unsure the best thing I could tell you to do would be to call the Vet and ask them how long it will take and how long to give the medication.

You should start seeing some results in about three to four days, but she shouldn't be clear of the infection for about 10 days. Even after that, if she's an older cat, she might experience coughing and runny eyes periodically for months.

Within 3-5 days, the cat should be almost back to normal. If there are still a lot of symptoms, or the cat is worse, call the vet. A change of antibiotic may be in order.

3-4 days after the meds started she should be settling down but really not 100% for 1 week. As a warning..be sure she is eating. The problem is if a cat cannot smell their food then they won't eat.
Be sure to finish all meds.

If you went to the vet, he should have told you. If not but you are treating him listen carefully to his or her breathing because if you hear anything it might be dead.
