A good place to put a butterfly tatoo is:
Ankle (outside of)
Back (lower back with vines to left and right)
or
Neck (but a small one on the side, like behind your ear but a little lower

I have a beautiful tattoo of a butterfly on my lower back & I love it. You can see it at tattoomike.com. I like the lower back because I can cover it easily if I need to, but I was able to get a pretty big tattoo.

Is it one of those rub-on tatoos? Just leave it in a drawer until you're ready to use it.
If it's actual ink, you should shave your head, put it there, and then let your hair grow back. Then, if and when you go bald later in life, it will be a fascinating surprise to those around you.

Do a bit study first. Decide what you real desire and get some thing personalized. Butterflies are too ordinary now. I have one at the best of my foot that I certainly love. Good success!

my butterfly (it is pretty big though) is on my upper back in the middle between my shoulder blades.
i think you can put a butterfly anywhere because it looks as though it just landed. i think on the neck would be cute too or
on your foot.

I'd say don't put it on your back...everyone has a butterfly on their back...put it on your leg in the middle of your knee and ankle...that's a good spot.

I have 3 on my calf muscle and my mom has one on the top of her chest if you want to keep it to yourself.
The leg is a good place but it can fly up look more real.

in the lower back very lw where nobody can see it unless you wearing a lowe rise pants etc or skirt...in the middle ocourse I think it will be sexy..And that that I have fobia to tatoos...So that I recommend it in that spot...

I think you should put it on your ankle or on the small of your back both of these will look cute i have one on my ankle and i have one right above where the lips of my v****A starts that hurt but it look very cute and of course you have to keep it waxed or shaved all the time(your v****a) if you get it there.

The small of your back, just above your panty line.
The middle of your back, in between your shoulderblades.
On your chest, just between your shoulder and your sternum.
Your ankle is a good place too.
