What god do you mean? Well, what I can in fact tell you is that certainly most of the religions in existance were without a doubt created upon the very same ancient ideas, the archetypes. And since the first impression any human receives thru the eyes and thru actually feeling the phenomena around him is pure Nature, then there would not be a mistake to assume that Lucifer might in deed be a "version" of the sun God. But also could Jesus... In mythology we have many deities related to the sun, like "Rá" for instance... Still, Lucifer in greek means something like the "carrier of light" or something, so you at the end might be right... Regars, Gabriel.

"Luci-fer" is Latin
for "light-bearer", so the word does not even exist in Hebrew; it could not possibly have been the original name of any Biblical character prior to Roman involvement in Biblical history -- that being the Occupation. "Lucifer" was a title of the planet Venus considered as an astronomical phenomenon. There was no actual character named Lucifer, nor any mythology associated with that character. The origin of Lucifer as a mythic figure was in the misunderstanding of a Biblical screed against Nebuchadnezzar, which ironically refers to him as the "star of the morning", translated "Lucifer" in the Vulgate. This was erroneously conflated with the apocryphal legend of the Fall and gave us our Western legend of Lucifer.

No, Lucifer is based Angra Mainyu (the bad God from Zoroastrianism), and the God of Abraham is the updated (good God) Ahura Mazda.

The sun Gods based from different religions are closer to the Christian God, not Lucifer. Even the Hymn to the Aten (an Egyptian sun God) is comparable to the Psalms.

What Christian and Jewish sun-god? There was no such thing.

Christians say he was a fallen angel. Muslims say G-d made him from Fire. And, tho I am a Jew--------don't think I have heard much about him at all....we might mention evil-but not Lucifer/Devil.

First, Christianity is montheisic, so we only have the Trinity. Secondly, Lucifer, was the angel who attempted to lead a rebellion against God, it failed and he was sent to hell, where he is trying to bring down humans to get revenge against God, not the sun god, I think your thinking of the romans or greeks, they had sun gods.
