Olive oil has been used for millenia for many reasons, including a skin cleanser, hair conditioner, and of course as a main dietary oil.
However, to obtain its fullest benefits, you should eliminate some things from your diet. Stop eating fast foods, junk foods, sodas, white sugar and flour. Substitute fresh fruits and vegetables and lean meats. Exercise 30 minutes 3 times a week, enough to get your heart pounding and to break a sweat.

Olive oil is only a part of a healthy lifestyle. But the results to your hair and skin will be worth it all!

Believe it or not, olive oil and salmon are 2 of the best foods for fighting inflammation and getting great skin and hair.

Omega 3-6-9 EFA capsules are also great to add to your diet for this purpose.

You can also use the olive oil as a hair conditioner. Apply to dry hair overnight, then wash it off in the shower.

A quick search re: olive oil and skin benefits resulted in me finding articles where people applied the oil directly to their skin for benefit, but no mention of it helping skin if ingested. Although, I used to give my dogs vegetable oil to help with dry skin, so there may be some effect on the skin if you intake enough of it.

Do some research of your own and see what you can find.
