How do I spend a large sum of money I have recently won on the lottery?

I think it depends on how large. In this order, personally, I would (1) pay off my credit cards, personal loans, and bills, (2) pay off my student loans, (3) prepay my rent for a year, (4) buy a new car, (5) buy a new computer, (6) buy some new clothes, (7) buy some new furniture, (8) set some aside for the future, (9) donate some to charity (or create a scholarship fund for students), and (10) take a cruise!

You look young ? Not that that makes any diff..
Whatever you do or want to do make sure you at least by a nice house outright. Also make sure your family are ok for the future. Example: Pay their mortgages off for them at least. Depending on amount you have won.
After that if you blow it all at least you have a property with no mortgage.
Travel too.

I would suggest you put half in the bank, the rest would be to give out to friends and relatives (who deserve it!) and to pay off bills like my mortage etc. That of course depends on how much you won! The other half thats in the bank would be to spend on yourself because you'd deserve it!

how large? Buy a house in the hills or on an island somewhere and invest the rest in gov't bonds. if your that lucky don't forget to play again!

put some in the bank so you can get the intrest while you are spending the rest. get whatever you want, cars, a house, toys (ya know, big kid toys)
if you're into it, donate some, give some to family/friends

Put it in the bank, have a good think and then decide. Giving some to charity would be nice though!

on what ever you want but if it is a very large sum give some to charity (good samaritan) and if you have kids college funds
