Yes, Hindus believe not only in afterlife, but rebirth as well.
when a person who dies, his soul rises to heaven where it is decided by 'Chitragupta' whether he will receive salvation and be unfied to God or he will be sent to earth again in rebirth as a different species. There are 8.4 million species assumes through which a soul has to pass before it can get to human form, and it is in human form that a person can strive to be good (earn 'punya' or good points from God) and attain Moksha (salvation). If he fails to do enough, the cycle repeats. The better points he earns, the better species he will be sent to, like horse or lion. But if he earns bad points, he may be sent as wretched species like snail or cockroach.

Reincarnation until moksha (liberation for the cycle of samsara).

Different terminology, but essentially the same.
