I won't vote for a best and worst, since all religions contain elements that are positive and elements that are negative. When religion is about the search for truth and fulfillment, it is at its best. When religion teaches that it is the only way to truth, that elitism shuts off all other avenues to truth and encourages intolerance.
As for prophets and geniuses--humans are imperfect, but that doesn't mean they aren't capable of extraordinary acts of generosity and courage. I personally choose to be inspired by those benevolent acts rather than the person, just as I choose to be inspired by passages from the scriptures that are admirable while not expecting the work as a whole to be worthy of emulation. Admire what is admirable and pass over what is not.

Excellent question!!! Let's break it down.
Jesus claimed to be God, THE way to Heaven, THE savior, and the truth, and the life...these are very exclusive claims.
Because of his controversial claims he is either one of three things:
1. The one he says he is
2. A liar/false prophet
3. A lunatic
Being just a "good prophet" and lumped in with all other religions is not an acceptable or logical answer (his claims are too drastic and too extreme for that). And seeing that there is insurmountable evidence that he lived & died & rose from the dead, I beleive that he is option #1. And that being said, all other prophets who say things in direct contradiction are false prophets (Mohammad, Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, the Pope, Buddah, Dali Llama).
With all due respect, the resurrection really says something about the teachings of Jesus.

I think this is a dangerous question and one that can only be answered by Him above.
Every religion is different because everyone has different belief systems and different views of their God. I personally don't care how ppl choose to worship or if they choose not to at all, I just know what I believe and leave it at that.
Getting into arguments over which is "best" is ridiculous as it will never resolve anything...as if we all as ppl didn't already know that. I am Protestant Christian, but I still do what I can to learn about other religious affiliations. Most of our friends are not Protestant, or even Christians, but they are a great group of ppl and I love them for who they are. They teach me, and I teach them.
That is what the world, esp religion, should really be about. Education and understanding one's world is the only cure to wars and ppl dying bcuz of a certain group's beliefs. We can coexist, but we have to WANT to. Stopping all the prejudging for whatever ppl's reasons are is the first step to peace.

The best religions are the ones that don't force themselves on others that don't share the same viewpoint and don't start wars in the name of their deity, like Taoism and Buddhism.
The worst religions have members that follow without doubt or question, will do ANYTHING in the name of their deity, justify atrocities as "holy" or the will of their deity, and persecute ALL others that do not believe exactly as they do.
Guess which ones those are.

The best religions are ones that allow people to grow spiritually without harming anyone else (this includes attacking thier religion). The worst religions are the ones that actually supress peoples spiritual growth and demand thier unquestioning loyalty while attacking other religions as somehow inferior.

The best of religion: Hope and morality
The worst of religion: Feeling of superiority and lack of acceptance
I don't believe any god would want us to persecute other religions. All religions should adhere to human rights and freedom of belief. Believe what you want, but respect others' decisions. Most people believe in the doctrine common to their area. We can't blame people for believing what their culture leads them do. I believe a devout Buddhist monk would go to Heaven if Christianity is shown to be "right." It is all about trusting a higher power and being kind to your fellow man.

The best and worst of religion is the same as the best and worst of humanity. The ability to care vs the ability to harm. Humanity has infinite capacity for both and sadly religion is often used for it's justification.

Which religion is superior to all the others?
That question is purely subjective.
It all depends on what you personally believe.
I believe in no religion, at least in the supernatural sense.
