We have been together exactly 10 years today and he still doesn't forgot that today is also my birthday. Not a happy birthday or a happy aniversary. What a day. I feel like I want to cry and the day just started.

Been there, girl! I'd wait till dinner but wouldn't fix any. I'd dress up and calmly say, "I'm taking myself out for my birthday. I'll be back when I get back." Then I'd go! And I'd be damned if I'd remember HIS birthday when it comes round.

Well first off.. Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary!!..

Remember that your day just started. And if he always has problems remembering throw him a hint.

This is a really stressfull time of year not to mention to add two more important things ontop of that. Just give him a small hint on what the day today is. Sometimes we all need help with that.
I know that you feel bad now but with 10 years under your belt, think of how much you love him. The greatest gift you can receive from him today is knowing that he loves you and still wants to spend the rest of his life with you. Dwell on that..

And try to have a great day!

Stop it, the world is not going to come to an end. One day you will hope people forget your birthday. First of all simply remind him. Many, a great deal of men forget birthdays, this is something not on their radar. If you are lucky enough to find a man who remembers special occasions. You are in the minority. So, simply remind him and then he will probably spend the rest of the day making it up to you. Next year, leave daily reminders on alarm clock, the shower door, the frig, his car, etc, one a day for the entire month or two weeks prior to your birthday. Good luck and God bless**** And Happy Birthday to you, many more to come. Hope your day turns around and you have a very blessed day!

Kayla, first off, Happy Birthday!

It is a shame that your husband forgot your birthday. One of the cardinal sins for married men. I would just remind him that today is your birthday and let him know that you were disappointed that he forgot. But remember - don't attack him and make him all defensive (or worse start a fight). I am sure that if you tell him how you feel, he will not make the same mistake next year.

That's not good! =( But maybe he's caught up with work or friends. He should have remembered but if he didn't, he may have something else on his mind, Tell him how you feel about it, I'm sure after ten years of being together he'll understand! You say the day just started? Then maybe he hadn't thought about it yet, or was waiting for something. Stick it out until later and then tell him how you feel. You can't not say anything, you'll get angry or upset and take it out on someone else. Good Luck! x

Well firstly, many happy returns of the day. May god bless you.
Yeah, talking about your husband, you know what? Give him a big bar of chocolate, and wish him happy birthday. But he'll tell it isn't his b'day today. And then taunt him by saying it's the b'day of his other better half!!

Exactly...the day has just started. He still has the rest of the day to do something. BUT if he doesn't I wouldn't remind him. My ex forgot Valentine's Day. That hurt. So, when he called me late that afternoon he asked me what I was going to do. I told him that I had plans. Of course he got mad and asked what plans.. I told him that I was going out of town for Valentine's. You see, he had asked what I wanted to do a month prior to that and I told him that I wanted to go out of town and spend just "me and him" time. He was all for it then he forgot. He knew exactly where I was going to be and he ended up showing up apologizing.
