there ARE safe things to use on your cat's fur, but the effectiveness depends on the color it currently is. i grew up with white cats, so these went over pretty well.

diluted food coloring and non-toxic markers work very well. sometimes my cats would roll in the sidewalk chalk drawings i made, but i wouldn't suggest using that much. sidewalk chalk is non-toxic, but it may still give them problems.

color should never be an issue in loving a cat. it's their personality you should look at, not the color.

If you don't like the colour DON'T TAKE THE CAT. Leave it for someone else. Do not put anything on the cats fur. Would you like someone to put chemicals on your skin?

if you love the cat then the color shouldn't matter. would you want your cat to color your hair?

NO. Just leave the cat the way it is.
