Although I do not know if they were Black, there have
been at least three African popes:
• St. Victor I (189-199)
• St. Melchiades (311-314)
• St. Gelasius (492-496)
With love in Christ.

These Catholic fools play with words. You know, Iran is an African nation. Several of the African nations are brown skin people. No, a ***** will never be pope in their racists society. I don't thing a Catholic Kennedy has ever had a black guest spend the night. All Catholic whites thinks black skin will rub off on them. But Islam has blacks right at the top. Even some of our top terrorist are black.
Allah be praised.

Well I don't know of any black Catholics actually.
I'm not Catholic either but have been to the church for my
brothers kids communions and baptisms.... I've never seen a black person in there. I think they know they can go straight to the Lord with prayer and confessions and don't go to a priest for such a thing because they know a priest is just a man like any other.

No black men have ever been Pope. But any male adherent of Catholocism that takes the necessary steps should be eligible regardless of skin color.

Not in this time. There are a few black cardinals out there. The chances of it happening though are slim. Even as modern as the world is, the European countries wouldnt have it. Nice thought though but we wont see it in our lifetimes.
