Just as I was about to ask her for a games console for christmas, she asks ME for a games console for christmas!!! Seen's I live with her thats me sorted, I just knocked down to my second choice of present, a digital camera. Did I get to have my cake and eat it or what???

Not really. You would have had a great girlfriend if SHE was buying the games console. As you are the one buying it for your girlfriend and you can use it too as you live together, you are technically buying your own present. You have to pay for it, she gets it for free. If I was you, I would go halves on it. That way you have bought it together. I wouldn't say you were a winner in this situation.

fabulous darling! did you know that playing on a console game raises testosterone levels in men so actually you should be able to play together and then after PLAY together!! you really did get a massive slice of cake didn't you?! ;)

I agree! Although the exact same thing happened woth me and my other half and now we argue all the time. He bought it for me after waiting weeks for me to give him an answer on what I want! Then he uses it all the time. this ws a year ago! I think Ive only played on it once! Touch tho!

But after Xmas when she ignore's you all the time while she's on the console & you get bored with her & seek pleasure else where & she finds out & then dumps you, kicks you out & she keeps the console to herself then....

My husband is getting me a Pink Nintendo DS Lite for our anniversary and I think it is a great gift. Can't wait to play it! ( I got him a nice new stereo system for his car.) Next anniversary? I want a pole in our bedroom so I can dance for him. How does that sound?
