Really depends on the dogs, but I don't see just a huge clash there. I have a ****-zu and a jack russel- rat terrier, and they get along perfectly... don't know what they'd do without each other, but they match sounds odder than the one your mentioning.

I had a toy poodle and got a pomerian down the road and the 2 of them became best friends. Poodles are very affectiate and they can get along with any dog. My toy poodle got along with many dogs. It all depends on you and how you bring the dogs up. If you favor 1 over the other than that one will be jealous but if you treat them the same you shouldn't have a problem.

Well, I don't know too much about the personality of toy poodles, but pugs can get along with just about anything. Pugs love attention and the company of other dogs. I think as long as you introduce them to each other early enough and make sure to keep their food bowls seperate, they should be fine.

You need to take your dog out multiple times a day. Once he uses the bathroom outside praise him with a "good dog!" Sticking his nose in his mess is an old trick that doesn't work anymore as you have figured out. Also, if your dog goes to the bathroom when you leave it is stress. If this is the case then act like you are going out and leave for a couple of minutes and then come back in to reassure him that you will always come back. Lastly, watch how much water he is drinking. If he drinks a lot all at once give him limited amounts at certain times or you could try giving him some ice cubes.

Poodles are the worst dogs to have- esp when you have another dog in the house!
they like to be the center of attention, and if you make them mad they will tee tee on you're furniture, or even poop on your bed.
I have a min poodle, and he is SOO jealous of my other dogs.
I will never get another poodle, a great dog is a good oll Lab! they truly are a man/girls best friend!

If they are both under a year old, they should learn to get along fine. Even if one is older, if one is under 6 months or so, they should learn okay. Best bet is if one is female and one is male. If you have two females or two males, there may be some challenges for pecking order. If you have problems, consult a trainer for solutions.
