If we do are we destined to be lovers or friends. I believe my soulmate is a male friend from highschool, but I also believe another friend was my female soulmate. My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 years and he is my true love. He thinks we're soulmates but I've met his soulmate and it aint me.

The thing is our solmates are not necessarily our lovers. You said it already. I think we do all have a soul mate but how many of us are willing to accept that our soulmate could be our best friend and not our boyfriend or girlfriend.
I thought i had one. My ex but we dont speak to each other anymore.

8 years is a long time to be with someone and wondering about your soulmate... I don't know if we have soulmates. I do believe we can love someone so deeoly that even after they are gone from our lives we still have a connection with them. My ex and I still "feel" each other after 3 years of being apart. I can tell from 100 miles away if something is wrong with him. It is strange to explain...

A soulmate is the ONE person you are meant to be with til death do you part. Not maybe this guy or that. That's the whole point of the word "soulmate". You will just know the ONE and ONLY.

No, the chances are very slim that you get your perfect guy amongst 6 billion people who live in the world. So just go with the current and try to be realistic and smart.
