If you genuinely have that much to lose to be healthy and you need to do it fast - have a look at Gastric Bypass or Duodenal Switch surgery.

Weight Loss Facts: Low Fat Foods DON'T WORK.

You cannot lose weight using Low Fat Diets. Low fat foods have been popular for more than 15 years, but yet our society is getting more overweight as each year passes. This fact alone should tell you that eating a purely low fat menu is not the answer to losing weight.

Low Calorie Diets DON'T WORK.

You won't lose weight using a Low Calorie Dieting Plan either. In fact, eating low calories is the worst thing that you can do to your body, since that will only slow down your body's fat burning engine and ruin all chances of losing weight (low calorie diets may allow a few pounds of weight loss for the first few days, but then after that all weight loss comes to a halt --- known as a dieting plateau). You can never get slim by starving yourself.

Low Carb Plans DON'T WORK.

You'll probably find it extremely difficult to get slim using a Low Carb Dieting Plan. Low carb diets have recently become popular over the last couple years, but the problem with low carb menus is that they are too strict and TOO HARD TO FOLLOW for average people. Low carb menus tend to rob your body of too much energy (carbohydrates) and make it nearly impossible to remain on the program for very long. This is why so many dieters find it difficult to follow a strict low carbohydrate menu.

What about Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig Dieting Plans?

Weight loss programs such as Weight Watchers (and Jenny Craig) usually involve slower dieting progress over a longer period of time, since such programs generally promise only 2-3 pounds of weight loss per week. Also, programs such as Jenny Craig usually involve buying special meals and/or dietary supplements during the initial phases of the program. While some people may like these types of dietary programs, we prefer a dieting plan which focuses on faster weight loss, such as the Accelerated Fat Burning Program shown below...

I found a great way to lose weight fast and keep it off. I do body cleansing. I lost 13 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. Cleansing will help the body get rid of toxins. Toxins come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives etc. The toxins get stored in the fat in our body. To shrink the fat, we have to get rid of the toxins by cleansing. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. Many patients ask me how they can slim down. I recommend that people eat right and exercise. However, if they would like a little "help", I suggest using natural Hoodia (it's important to note that not all Hoodia works well, even if the bottle says "pure" or "standard").

The Hoodia sold at http://www.alllsite.info/free-diet-pills.php is in my opinion the best Hoodia on the market. It's pure, has no side effects, and they give you a free 15 day sample (there is a $7.99 shipping and handling charge, but they also give you free recipe and diet guides). My patients have seen fantastic results with this particular Hoodia.

Educate yourself, put yourself in charge of what you eat, and convince yourself to be happy about these choices. You are much happier eating healthy. You know that. Make yourself truly believe that.

As for educating yourself, here is a starting point: A pound is 3500 calories. Your present weight requires 15 calories per pound to maintain, assuming moderate activity. So if you weigh 200 lbs, your body needs 3000 calories to maintain your weight.

If you eat 2000 calories a day, your body will have a 1000 calorie deficit each day. After 3-1/2 days, you will lose a pound.

Now, if you exercise, you burn more calories. So if you exercise 90 minutes - 45 minutes twice a day - and burn 1500 calories, your daily deficit is now 2500 calories. You will lose 5/7 lb every day.

I've been eating 1000 calories a day - below that I won't lose weight - and walking 60+ minutes twice a day, and the weight is falling off. And I feel good. And by choosing my foods wisely - apples, clementines, cabbage (a favorite), tofu, fish, lean chicken, hot dogs (100 calories each, no bun), hard boiled egg whites (another favorite of mine), lowfat yogurt, chicken broth instead of oil - I don't feel like I'm dieting at all. In fact, I'm eating all day.

Using the information above to help you select what you eat will put you in charge of your weight and weight loss. Using a diet someone else wrote out for you doesn't put you in charge, it makes you dependent. You need to be in charge of your weight loss.

Sorry to go on so long, but it's frustrating to me that weight loss is a simple topic that many have made very confusing. Keep it simple. Keep yourself in charge.

Powdered Protein, if you weigh 250lbs you need to be taking 250 grams of whey protein a day, which is about 5 scoops. It goes with your weight. If you have kidney problems, see your doctor first. Best place to get this is at a fitness shop, not a gym. Small portions every 2 hours. NO FAT NO SUGAR. Remember if it doesn't fit in a saucer, it's too much! Take at least a 20 minute fast walk everyday. GOOD LUCK

80 lbs in 6 months? it's possible but are you going for permenent weight loss or fast weight loss?

fast weight loss you lose all the weight and gain it back in half the time it took you to lose it?

permenat weight loss is slower but it stays off forever.

If you want to lose weight fast I suggest you go to these two pages:
http://www.nowloss.com/Weight_Loss_pills.htm and http://www.nowloss.com/lose-weight-fast.htm

For permenent fat loss go to: http://www.nowloss.com/Step_by_Step_lose_weight.htm
