I have heard and read about the superconscious state of a human being as active when asleep and the conscious state as active when awake. How do the two states of mind relate and how do dreams come in? Can dreams be used to foretell the future events? Do other animals dream? What actually are dreams?

Dreams mean a many of things. Warnings being reborn spiritually, dejavu's. The mind is a very complex thing. Some people right now as we speak are walking the streets with half a brain. I know crazy right?

The other half makes up for whats missing we only really use like 25% of our brain anyways imagine the possibilities if we were to use 100%.

Did you ever have one of those vague dreams you cant remember all but you remember some and then you see yourself repeating that dream. Dejavu! It's so real I know this cause it happen to me.

If we can stimulate 75% more of the brain with electrical waves or something like that we can get it rebooted and ready to learn. There have to be a technic on how to stimulate and work 100% of the brain. I love Science. So COOOL! God Bless. Love Amen. God is one genius. Love. Amen.

Subconscious, not superconscious. Subconscious literally means 'less than conscious'. Your subconscious mind is always active, but as the name suggests you're not aware of it. Dreams are manifestations of your subconscious thoughts, but are experienced through your conscious mind.
Dreams cannot tell the future beyond the way in which your ordinary thoughts can. For example, you might dream about going to the dentist the night before you go to the dentist, but only because you were thinking about it, and your dream will be based only on those subconscious thoughts. So dreams can't predict anything unless you already knew it would happen.
Yes, other animals dream. In fact all mammals do. You may have noticed your pet's eyes moving rapidly while they're asleep, that means they're dreaming.
So to put it simply, there is a relationship between dreams and real life experiences, but it's the experiences that affect the dreams not the other way around.

Q1: How do the two states of mind relate and how do dreams come in?
The dream is the time of spirit. Dreams make what happens in our daily life pallatible (sp) it's when you deal with understanding life.
Q2: Can dreams be used to foretell the future events?
Dream time is when we are most spiritually aware. There is a practice called dreamwalking. It is when we travel in our dreams and discover current past and future events. Through the teachings we can also learn to spiritwalk.
The CIA uses a similar practice in teaching people to watch or locate others that are a great distance away. "Remote Viewing"

Q3:Do other animals dream?
Yep they sure do. Watch your dog sleep or your cat. All creatures have spirits souls and bodies. They all dream.

Q4:What actually are dreams?
Dreams are the connection between spirit and physical existence. They work as a conduit between our living reality and the spiritual reality we as spiritual beings cant separate from.
They make us aware of our living world and our spiritual world.
They are teachers. They make us seek answers.
If you have a recurring nightmare you start looking for reasons. same with any recurring dream.
Dreams connect us to our spiritual memory.
They help us to discover or remember answers.
Dreams fulfill our need for fantasy and help us create hope. They reinforce faith and let us blow off steam.
People are spiritual beings Dream time is an absolute necessity. Those that go without dream sleep (rem sleep) can suffer real problems. Because the physical and Spiritual sides of us must connect.
I hope this helps. There is so much more to Dreams that I cant get in to.

have been having some weird dreams lately about a former place of work and the people I used to work with. can't figure out why I would be dreaming about them unless there was some subconscious desire to go back to a different time for some unknown reason. but this wouldn't make sense as I am retired.

have not had any dreams regarding the future as all of the dreams I have been having are of the past.

I don;t know about animals but for us humans dreaming is not so much a superconscious state as random thoughts, feelings, ideas etc. It relates to our real life experience in that things seen, heard and experienced while awake turn up in our dreams. Sometimes you may be concerned about something but not concsiously aware of it until it turns up in your dreams. Like when there was a shooting near my son's school and I kept having recurring dreams that something bad was happening to my children at school. When I am on a diet I dream about food. If I become cold during the night I dream of being outdoors without adequate clothing. If i fall asleep in front of the TV, I dream of whatever is on during my nap.

My dreams are a synthesis of real life events, symbolic imagery and a lot of surreal stuff that has no apparent meaning. I find if I've had some problem on my mind my dreams don't offer an instant solution but they sometimes help me look at it from a different perspective.

I have had dreams warning me in one way or another about a person that I have recently met. For instance when I was single and dating someone new. I listen to my dreams too. I believe that it is often your sub conscience or instinct telling you what your heart does not want to hear.
My husband has lucid dreams. When we were dating and first married he snored really really loud. He told himself before bed not to snore loud. He stopped. He just barely snores now.

dreams are our subconsious way of dealing with life events ... sorting them out so that we may better deal with them

i am told also that we may travel during sleep , so things that may appear to be a dream , may be a memory of our travels
dreams can often be predicatve and give us glimpses of what " may " happen
animals do dream yes ... you just have to watch a dog sleep to know that
and no one knows exactly what dreams are other than a chemical release that takes our mind into another brain wave

Sleep understands waking better than waking understands sleep, and when we are visited by people in our dreams they are really there.
