I'll bet you got low blood pressure. I have. And when I do something strenuous,...ahem. My heart beats so loudly, I'm sure the neighbours can here it over everything else!
My doc says i'm in fine fettle, but I would go and get yours checked just to be on the safe side.
And it'll put your mind at rest.

I'm sure that if you heard an unusually loud ticking coming from the engine of your car every time you took it for a drive, you would be worried enough to get a mechanic to check it over? Do give the same attention to your body - it's the only one you have! It's probably nothing to worry about, but I would certainly recommend you visit a doctor in order to discount anything sinister, as what you describe is unusual. Most of us feel our heart thumping after physical exercise, but I've never heard of anyone experiencing audible ticking. (And I too have always had low blood pressure!).

It could be nothing (the heart beats faster and sounds louder with exercise) but it may be a sign of a problem with a heart valve. We have no way of knowing which it is over the net. Go and see your doc.

You should visit your GP. The heart is something that one just cannot ignore! he may test your hearts response to light exercises etc.
