my friend told me she had a bump on her vagina..right by the hair and that it looked like a pimple..she tried popping it and some white stuff came out. She has not had sex with anyone in over a year..could this be HPV??...I dont know what to tell her..she is freaking out!..she said the bump doesent hurt and its a flesh color..what could it be?

If it's by the hair, I would say that THAT could not be HPV. I'm not saying it's impossible that she has HPV, but that sounds like an unrelated pimple. It could've also simply been an ingrown hair, which is also common. It's not at all a rare site to see either on or near reproductive organs.

Could be a pimple or even an ingrown hair. Warts I think are more common up inside and alot of times are not even noticed. But to put her mind at ease she should go get checked.

Probably just a pimple. Warts are extremely common. Tell her to get a pap smear.

advise your friend to consult a medical doctor for treatment before its too late, the doctor may give your friend good advises on sexually transmitted deseases. she might be a victim of sexual contact with a man to have the desease even long before because such desease could not just haappened immediately. It may took years and years to be a victim

I am pretty sure (but am not a doctor) that puss 'usually' only comes out of a pimple or zit. But if she is truly worried, she should definately see a doctor.

ingrown hair? that is a possibility.
i have had that not necessarily an ingrown hair but from clothing rubbing,etc. it went away and left no mark.. if it doesn't go away and something else comes out in the same area, i would see a dr asap.

most probably it's ingrowing hair..
but if she's too worried, she can see a doctor.
