I've been dating this guy for about a month and a half now. Things were going well, until he went away this weekend to visit family. I don't know if what's going on has to do with the weekend or not, but he used to call all the time...he hasn't called in 2 days, but keeps sending me texts saying he's sorry he hasn't called, he's been busy, it's been a rough week, etc. I never chase guys, so I was just going to wait it out until he called. I don't believe that a guy should be too busy to call....if he was thinking about me, he'd call.
The question is, should I call him just to see what's going on or wait and see what happens? I don't understand what changed.

He was only visiting family for the weekend...he's home now - didn't call yet, but got another text today saying sorry he hasn't been nice lately but he has a lot going on....I'm so confused!! If he didn't care why is he texting, and if he cared that much, why is he not calling!!! I don't want to be the needy girl and stalk him if he really does have a lot going on right now.

eh.i can get too busy at times to call.cause when you get busy, your mind is really carried away by what you are currently doing and by the time this guy actually thought of you.it might be the time he is about to sleep.

Well maybe he is just too busy. He did text message you, so he did make time to let you know that he's busy and that he is sorry he has not called. He is visiting family, it's the holidays...give him his space. See if he calls and acts normal when he is done visiting his family. Don't call him, let him call you...especially if he says he is busy! BTW he was thinking about you or he wouldn't have text messaged you right? If he don't act normal after he's done visiting with his family, then maybe you should call him and see what is up.

You are way too needy and clingy! He told you what is going on when he texted you saying he's busy and having a rough week. If he was thinking about you he'd call? I give this relationship a couple more weeks, and then you're going to get dumped.

CALL HIM! ask if he is still intrested and maybe you could ask if things are cool and you guys can go to the movies? give it a try girl, get ready cause your in for one hell of a ride this happened and not to scare you but my bf did this to me and he changed his phone number so all i had was his email but then he did not email back since :-(

Call him, and ask him if he's still doing okay, and if you can help out if he's too busy with some things.
Don't be pushy, don't demand that he should make time for you.
Be sincere. Sometimes life just really gets you too busy.

Yes, i would call, there's nothing wrong in today's world with a girl calling a guy, actually allot of guys tend to like it when the girl calls them at least sometimes, it lets them know you are thinking of them, the same reason you want him to call you, so yes i would definitely call.....

Call him up! If he seems to busy or preoccupied to talk then just act like you don't even care, then if he doesn't call back later he is a punk!

i just went through the same thing with a girl im dating and found it hard to not call but hey she called me tonight and it felt good.
if you call him you will never know how long he would have waited or if you ever would have got the call.
I know it is hard but for your own good hold out.

Call him. If he is truely into you he will love the fact that you made the effort to contact him. Sometimes people get sick of always being the one who initiates contact. If he wasn't interested in you anymore he wouldn't be texting. Call the man.
