Here's a really, really easy recipe that you can make in just a few minutes, with very few ingredients.

1.) You get a regular bite-sized pretzel, and put a Hershey's kiss on top. (You make a bunch at a time, and put them on a cookie sheet.)
2.) Put them in the oven for about 5 minutes on 350.
3.) You don't want the kiss completely melted, just a little, so it will be easy to put the M&Ms on top.
4.) Now, put an M&M on top of each of the kisses and pretzels.
To make it a little more festive, use red and green M&Ms. :)

Hope you can make them... they're very delicious! :)

You can toast the pecans, but first coat with a little bit of brown sugar and then add to a sheet pan and toast in the oven -watch closely.

For all the fruit, make a fruit salad. and when the pecans are cooled, add it to the salad.

Dressin-Kidslike sweet-so if you have some apple cider vinegar or white vinegar-add some honey, or sugar and some dried basil or thyme, mustard and mix-slowly add some oil-canola is fine and mix-it should be thick. Mix into fruit salad.

Serve some crackers on the side. If you have some creme cheese, put that on the crackers with some jam or jelly. I don't really know what you have in your pantrty and what is really basic, so those are my thoughts.

Good luck!

Well, speaking from personal experiece with not having a functional kitchen, an easy snack is, get some soft flour tortillas, cheese (you can use monterrey, cheddar, whatever kind you like, get an onion (if you liike them) and a tomato (or get diced canned tomatoes). Then take a flour tortilla, put it on a microwave safe plate (or use an oven), put some cheese on it evenly, sprinkle onions and tomatoe over it, then stack another flour tortilla over it, then cover it with a paper towel and microwave it for a minute, or till cheese melts. Cut into wedges and eat.

You can make fruit salad and add the pecans to give it a little crunchy texture. Maybe put peanut butter on the crackers. If you have cheese, maybe spinkle some on the chips.

Usually kids don't care much for nuts, unless it's peanut butter. Grapes are usually good, but it depends on the kids' ages - little ones can choke on the grapes. My kids like string cheese, PB on apple slices, cookies and chips of course, OJ, yogurt, bananas, but it really depends on the kid. You may have to stock up on a few things.

tortilla chips with cheese on top make good less-than-a-minute meals. and you could at some chili sauce, like the hormel chili that you can find at stores.

grapes and peanut butter although sounds gross, are really tastey and good for you.
