In England no such thing the closest is Braised Tofu which is available from Chinese supermarkets and Sainsburys.
It comes canned and has the appearance of canned tuna but goes in stri frys etc and is really a bit chewy tofu.
There are also cans which have this minced tofu and comes in sauce and that sometimes taste like tuna.
The thing England does not specialise in soya or tofu products in the way thay South East Asian countries do they have everything include Chicken Curry which made from processed Soya which has the appearance and taste of a Chicken Curry and I expect them to have Vegetarian Tuna proper.
We have Quorn.

Not that I know of but I have a great recipe for "Fake tuna salad sandwich":
Fake Tuna Salad
1 can (15 oz.) Garbanzo beans (Chick Peas), drained and rinsed
minced green onion to taste
pickle relish or finely chopped pickles (my preference is sweet!)
salt and pepper
any other favorite tuna salad ingredients
Mash up the beans until they are at a small-chunky stage, add the rest of
the ingredients, refrigerate for the flavors to mix and enjoy.
I'm still looking for a good "fake tuna casserole recipe". Good luck!

I've never heard of any vegetarian tuna, but I'm going to check out other people's comments and see what it's like! I also wanted to say that its okay if you're craving tuna or you want to eat something that tastes like it. Other people on here are saying "don't call yourself vegetarian", blah blah... but if you're like me and have eaten meat for the majority of your life because of how you were raised/where you live, then those cravings are gonna come. You can't just turn them on and off and decide to not have them. But you can decide to not act on them with actual meat, so all of the "perfect vegetarians" need to realize this!!

Yes there is and it's amazing! You can hardly tell the difference if at all. It's from Taiwan and found frozen in Asian markets. Taiwan has the best fake animal products out there. Here's one company: http://www.nbp.com Some companies of those ham logs have whey in the ingredients, so check if you care, but the tuna is A-OK. It's available in the USA, Canada, and many other countries too.

My husband is Japanese (and therefor a big fish eater!) and assures me that avocado with soy sauce and wasabi tastes exactly like tuna sashimi!! We have trouble getting hold of tuna fresh enough to eat raw, and so he loves this as an alternative.

Yes there is a recipe, it is made with chick peas.
I was not able to get a clickable link, but there are several on the Internet. Just google "vegetarian tuna". I think it would taste better, since you won't have that awful aftertaste.

Yes, there is a product and it is called Tuno. I think it is made by worthington. I think it is pretty good and know a lot of people who use it. It comes in a can just like tuna does.

Like an imitation tuna? I haven't found anything like that, though I would guess that some tofu or TVP with the right seasonings could taste a bit like tuna...
I think it's worth experimenting with.

Do you mean fake fish ?
Don't think so.
Obviously real tuna is not veggie.
Lee, I guess those animal injected hormones are sneaking through are they ? I wonder why meateraters make abuse-reporting them so easy. I guess fish is not the brain food people claim it to be.
such a nice chap, happy christmas
