can I safely be in my office which has exposed yellow insulation if I cover it with plastic? I have heard it is dangerous to breathe in while in a room with exposed pink or yellow insulation.

Be advised that fiberglass insulation does contain asbestos and should be handled carefully, most people believe they stopped using asbestos in fiberglass but they only stopped for one year.

It is dangerous to work in those conditions, the fiberglass can seriously mess your lungs. Are the doing construction??? If they are ask your boss to temporarily relocate you in the building. If it isn't constr. inform your boss it needs to be fixed if nothing happens in a week or two notify OSHA because that is a totaly unsafe work environment
