The Littman cardiac ones are good, but Bose now makes stethoscopes that blow the littmans out of the water. Yes it is the same Bose that make speakers.

I like the Littman cardiology stethoscope. Classic 11 is good too.

Any stethoscope you choose is only marginally better than rolling a newspaper into a tube, if you think about it. One that's comfy and fits your ears will work best, and it's a very personal choice. I've tried very expensive cardiology scopes that didn't work for me nearly as well as a generic $15 Sprague-Rappaport type.

It depends what you want to use it for. There are pediatric stethoscopes .... there are cardiac stethoscopes....there are obstetric stethoscopes .... all of them different .... and all of them useless for listening to anything OTHER than what they were designed to listen to.

im a 3rd year med student and i use littmann classic II S.E. a lot of my classmates chose the master, but i find it too complicated for our level of knowledge. many doctors in our hospital preffer littmanns, but that's personal choice. i think it's best you go to a store where they sell them, or hospital, and try a few different types and you'll see which one is best

They don't get as cold as the SS ones
