I heard that the people who have diabetes pee often, but in small amounts. Is that true?

I'm diabetic and attended a 3 day seminar at the hospital a few yrs ago, and have done lots of reading. The often part yes- if they are poorly controlled, but the small amounts part, not that I've ever heard about.

Some pee like crazy- because their body is trying to get rid of the sugar- now if the kidneys are effected- which is a bad sign- there can be decreased out put- or if there is a bladder or kidney infection you can get the urge to go and only pee small amounts- D=rn

Yes and no. I don't know what kind you have. I have one relative whom is diabetic and she doesn't really go to the restroom that often or more often with less volume than anyone else I know. It may be that you have a small bladder. It could be that you have ketoacidosis, and that's a bad thing. I'd check my blood sugars and make sure they're running where they should be as well as talk to my endocrinologist.

Sometimes. Urination of a large volume with an increase in urinary frequency is also commonly seen in diabetes.
