Well that depends on the type of STD. If your talking about cold sores caused by herpes then yes, he could end up with the virus. HIV/AIDS can be passed during a kiss if your mouth is bleeding or skin is broken and they have an open sore. I hope this answers your question.

Aids can also be transmit ed orally. Though not as easily, but don't hold me to that. Stuff like syphilis, chlamydia and HPV(human papilloma virus) as well as gonorrhea and pregnancy are usually transmitted through unprotected sexual contact.

Essentially you can do anything as long as you don't exchange any bodily fluids (except for saliva, which usually is alright) Make sure you tell him first though
