Wow, that appears like a sturdy time! no longer particular how a lot i'm assisting considering that this idea isn't that unique, neither is it some thing you're in touch in if you're not any further doing a present substitute, yet when you're, you may make it an alphabetical present substitute. each and every targeted visitor attracts a letter and a acceptance and buys a modern that one way or the different begins with that letter, can be $5-$10. We attempt this in my fiance's kin and it truly is continuously been a large number of thrilling. Love the CD idea above-that is a sturdy one!

I used to do this for a living. You need to first and most importantly keep it as simple as possible!! Second, you need to break them into teams and pick a Captain for each team. This will make it easier for you to manage the games because you only have to converse with the Captain of each team. Make sure you pick the teams randomly and don't let the people who always hang together play together. Try to get these people out of their comfort zone and make this a fun, team building exercise. Now, onto the events, depending on where you are having a party, scavenger hunts are always a good idea (just make sure you plan it out ahead of time) You can give each team a list (the smae list for all teams is fin) of tasks and trivia and stuff to complete. Set a strict time limit for the game and give bonus points to the first team back to strating point after the time is up and deduct points from the last team back. Keep in mind that the longer you make the time limit, the more and more things you need to add to the scavenger hunt (you don't want them to actually be able to complete everything in the time frame). Make sure everyone is having fun and keep the game moving. Rememeber you are the MC and if you screw this up, you will be um..screwed!! Merry Christmas!!

If you search for bowtie christmas party games on google or yahoo you should get to a bowtieproducts site that will give you 4 new original games that will help make your nite fun.
For parties mixers like this work because they give folks something to do while they get warmed up to each other. if they want to talk, they can talk, but if conversatrion lags games like these take up the awkward silences that many of us dread.
Whats nice is that people don't all have to be in it to enjoy it. Some can just help out if asked or enjoy the groans of the answer section.
If links work in the answer blocks here's the link
http://www.bowtieproducts.com/Christmas_party_games_and_puzzles.htm
there is also some party giving advice you may enjoy.
My wife and I made up the puzzles and many people really enjoy them.
I hope they work out well for you

the clothing exchange game is good.
What you do is take a large sheet and you take 2 people (of opposite sexes) the 2 people have to change into the other persons clothes while they are under the sheet the.Have people holding the sheet so it is not on the floor but at the same time nobody can see them. The people holding the sheet can lift it at random moments. Or you let the 2 people go for an alloted amount of time and whatever they do not get on stays off. And if they have any of their own clothing on it comes off. all clothing stays off till the end of the party

One of my most recent parties I had to put on was one with balloons. In each balloon was a number for the drawing we held. People had to sit on them to pop them. NEVER had I seen so many people have so much fun with a stupid balloon !!!
They were laughing, screaming & carrying on like kids. It was hilarious!!!!!!!
You could even put names of door prizes in the ballons and have some silly stuff for people to win. I used the small water balloons and blew some up real tight for easy popping and some rather light for difficulty in popping.
Also did a scavenger hunt... what a hoot to see all these people running around like a bunch of chickens in the coop.... chasing a prize ! I am now smiling big just thinking about it!
Hit up a local dollar store for the silly CHEAP prizes if you are running on a tight budget!
Have fun...we sure did!!

Check out the nearby Dollar Stores and see if you can secure 100 of those super safety dart guns.
Unwrap them and put them in buckets or bowls around the room.
Unless you are entertaining absolute saints, you will have THE best icebreaker in the history of all Christmas Parties!
Best Wishes!

A host at a party I went to recently did this, and I thought it was a great way to get people to talk to strangers. Might be good for you so people don't stick to their usual cliques.
Print up names of famous people throughout history on a piece of paper -- it can be anyone: celebrities, politicians, philosophers, people in the news. Then cut them out. As each person arrives at the party, they get a name taped on their back. They have to ask others for clues in order to guess the name of the person on their back, and they can only ask one question of each person.
It sounds dorky, but it was actually really fun.

My husband's Christmas party (about 64 people) did a word scramble. Everyone got a sheet of paper upside down and weren't allowed to peek. When it was said to flip them over, we had to unscramble Christmas words and the first person to hold up the sheet and shout "Done!" won a prize.
Another one was everyone was given a blank sheet of paper, and you had to hold it behind your back, fold it, rip holes and corners off it in an attempt to make a snowflake. We put our names on the backs, and the hostess hung them up on the wall with numbers, and people voted for the best "blind snowflake".
It was a hoot seeing everyone's snowflakes going up on the wall.

Break into teams, give each team the same packet of miscellaneaous craft supllies and see who makes the "nicest"holiday craft. (Glitter, sticks, cotton balls, constrction paper, styroform balls, glue etc.). Use silly, random crap, and see what funny stuff they can come up with. Dont make it too obvious or easy. The idea is to make something funny.

Close-up magcians as well as psychic readers can be fun. Everything doesn't have to stop for them to perform and they can adapt to many kinds of spaces. Try an event contractor for what you need.
