Any number of things- see a doc to get them to take a full history and examine you.

Could range from simple trauma, piles, inflammatory bowel, gut ulcer, tumour.

We cannot diagnose it over the internet, Definitely go and see a doctor, don't try and diagnose yourself, because anything can be attributed to anything. No point in working yourself up when it could be something simple, and also the earlier you get it seen to the better if it does turn out to be a bit more serious.

There are lots of reasons, most of them are not serious. It could be 'piles', an infection or other things. You would be better off talking to your doctor and getting some proper tests done if necessary. This will most likely put your mind at rest, or at least get you some proper treatment.

If it is bright red, I wouldn't worry about it. If it is darker, you need to go have a colonoscopy. This is a sign of colon cancer.
