hi everybody
im a medical student and we are asked to do research about obesity and diabetes so if anybody knows helpful information or links plz tell me about it

In my family there is diabetes and it happens that when somebody gets everweight its diabetes gets worse, but what I don't understand is why some of them have got hypoglicemia.

Obesity and diabetes are linked to low vitamin D. you can call the American Diabetes Assoc. It also is linked to depression,osteoporosis,and some cancers. the older you get the less iu's of D produced in your body . 10 to 20 min. in the sun will do the trick.

well my mom is a diabetic and she has to watch what she eats and she has to check her blood sugar before and after she eats and before she works out and i heard it is harder to lose wieght when you are a diabetic also you can ask askjeeves.com for more info i don't really know what obesity is sorry i hope i helped

Try medscape, especially if u nid articles to back up ur research.

other sites need registrations/subscriptions like JAMA(journal of american medical association).

but of course its best to read Harrisons Internal Medicine. :D
