She doesn't want to change. If you love her why would you want to change her? You need to learn how to respect her of not eating meat. Well I hope you work this out because if you keep trying to change her to a meat eater than your realationship with her might not be heading in a good way.

She's a vegetarian. That's it.
She will change of her own accord, or she won't.
Surely being your girlfriend is enough? If it isn't, then maybe you should find someone else. It's not like she tries to make you be a vegetarian, so why do you want her to eat meat? Why is it her who has to change, and not you?
I'm not sure what's good for heartburn, I've eaten lots of stuff but never got it.
But you could try hot curries and other spicy/oily food, which should bring it on.

If you are capable of making unbiased decisions, do some studying. Read why vegitarianism is becoming more popular. "I don't want to hurt animals" is only the very tip of the iceburgh. Your choices effect your health, and the very wellbeing of this planet. If you care at all about the not so near future, that is.

leave her alone. she has made her decision and might be better off health wise.
support her instead
Her looking at your steak etc is common even to a person on a diet or not eating or drinking a certain something. you still have the urge to eat or drink something but resist.
you should applaud her.
re: heart burn/acid reflux

If she has her own reasons for wanting to be veggie then let her be. If the roles were reveresed you wouldn't want her trying to convert you into a veggie would you?
It sounds like you should be eating lighter healthier food as well if you are getting heartburn. Lay off spicy or oily foods. Eat chicken, fish, salad and plenty of vegetables.

Tell her she will become enimic if she continues not eating any sort of meat. Humans need meat for their protein and immune systems. I bet she is a sickly girl. You should just dump her and get someone with a brain. Dumb chicks are ok for sex but not long term. If you want to get rid of heartburn drink a coke or better yet drink ginger ale. If you want to eat something to get rid of heartburn then just eat a half teaspoon of crushed ginger or a dish that has ginger in it.

It's not up to you to make life choices for other adults.
See your doctor about your heartburn. It can be a dangerous problem.
