Recently I have noticed I sometimes "crash" after eating--could it be a sign of a blood sugar problem? I have never really had this before and I eat healthy. I am a vegetarian, but I get protein and fiber--not just carbs. I don't eat a lot of sugar. I am 29 and only about 5 lbs overweight.

It is possible. In hypoglycemia the pancreas over reacts and dumps lots of insulin, which can cause a crash.

Call your doctor and make an appointment as soon as possible. He will probably order a Glucose Tolerance Test. If you do have hypoglycemia there are ways to control it. Mostly through your diet and eating habits.

It is possible that you are hypoglycemic. I have that problem, and was put through a lot of expensive testing before it was diagnosed. Just insist on a 3 hour glucose tolerance test first, as that is the test that will diagnose hypoglycemia.

Diabetes is caused by the body not being able to produce its own insulin properly. I suggest you contact your Dr. and have them run some tests. Don't hesitate, get it checked out before it causes other medical problems.
