Ask him to. If he loves you, it should not be an issue. Suggest you both take one together for each others safety- then he won't feel as though you are accusing him of anything.

No one can MAKE anyone else do something.

You do, however, have an obligation to protect YOURSELF by all means necessary. If I were concerned (as you obviously are), I would tell him straight out that you will NOT marry and/or have sex with him until he provides you with written, original test results from a doctor or clinic (or you go with him to get the results).

If he loves and respects you, he will get the tests done and provide you with the results to your satisfaction.

If he doesn't get the tests, you have to make a decision. Stay or Go. Keep in mind that any person who refuses a reasonable request such as this is only going to get worse over time and totally disrespect your feelings.

This may be a life and death decision for you or it could be something you have to live with for the rest of your life, i.e, herpes, HPV, etc. Some diseases can be passed on to your children.

Stand firm!! Your life and health depends on it.

U can ask him to take a test. They should not, however, e-mail the results to u, or even to him because of the HIPAA laws. The results would only be given to him unless u were in the room when the dr gave the results and he gave permission for u to hear them.

yes, Just straight up! tell him that if you want me to be your fiance, you'll assure me that we are starting this relationship clean and eliminate any question's and start fresh. Tell him, he's been with other people which means that he does have a chance of having something and this takes the guess out of it. if I was sexually active, I take the test for you. It's not a question of trust, it's simply a common curiosity to the person you want to spend the rest of your live with. good luck :)

Tell your fiance that him/her taking this test would make you feel much more safe when having unprotected sex one day.
