There's this guy that I used to see at this one fast food drive thru...then I didn't see him for awhile. One day I took a short lunchbreak and went to another fast food drive thru by my work and saw that he was working there. We smiled and said hi "you're working here kinda thing". Then one day I went to another fast food drive thru (okay, yes I eat out alot) and noticed that he'd been moved to a location near my house. Again we said hi with smiles from ear to ear (both of us). He's really handsome and I'd like to know him a little better, would it be too forward to ask him for a number while he's at work? What approach should I take w/out sounding desperate? He'll soon be moving from that place to another and I'm afraid I won't find him again if that happens before I get the nerve to ask him anything personal.....HELP!

I want to add that I don't even know his name so it would be really hard to find him.

For Kerri who answered/commented on my question. My question was not about me eating out or what I eat (healthy and/or unhealthy)....it was about meeting someone who works at a fast food place.....first of all I do follow a strict diet and hit the gym three times a week and am I compete in my athletic club's tennis group. I'm VERY fit. I think maybe you needed a bit more information because this guy does have a steady job....he's an area manager for the chain of restaurants. He's relocated with work (for the same company but different areas of town). And that's why I had lost track of him. BTW, I've met him since I posted the question and he IS a very nice man.

I agree with the paper thing, write your name on a piece of paper and causally hand it to him... but does it bother you that he keeps switching places to work? It might be a sign that he may not be able to commit to you, just like he cant commit to his jobs

The food at those restaurants is actually made fresh. They dont have 3 double cheeseburgers just sitting there waiting to be put in a bag. They have to make them. The reason its called "fast food" is because they have tools that make the food cook faster. If you're just ordering a value meal or something, its usually ready within 3 minutes. However, if you're ordering a lot of stuff, it takes time to make it. And if they run out of, say, chicken, they have to wait until it comes out of the fryer before they can make your sandwich (which usually takes about 5 minutes depending on what kind of chicken it is). So instead of making everybody in line wait longer, they pull the car up and give the next car their coffee or whatever they ordered. If you just ordered a soda, would you like to wait 5 minutes for it so some guy could get his chicken at the window? There is a method to their madness.

Personally, I think a few things need to happen. I think that eating fast food is NOT very good. Especially if you are eating it as much as it seems you are. Its not good for you. And if this guy is changing jobs between fastfood places....Thats a sign of commitment problems, and he cant keep a stable job. Sounds like he is bouncing around from drive-thru to drive-thru. Not the kind of man I would want. Honey, I would drive on by and move on to a man that can get a real job.

write your phone number and a little note on a piece of paper, like "hi, want to get together some time?" and hand that to him next time you drive thru.
