Absolutely. Even the smell of cigarettes on your clothing could be a trigger factor. Just quit, for your sake, as well as the sake of your child's health. Set a good example. Good luck.

I feel your pain. I've had asthma for 14 years now and have seen several doctors. The truth is, there is no known cure for asthma at the moment. But the symptoms can be prevented. It really depends on what causes your brother's asthma. Mine is usually dust and hot weather. But I think the universal method is using the control inhaler.

I cured my Asthma the natural way?

Yes, it can, and often does. I was an asthmatic child. I still have it.
I was 12, when my doctors found out I was allergic to cigarrete smoke. My parents were heavy smokers. They thought the doc was wrong and continued to smoke. I almost died a couple of times from attacks.
Eventually, when my brother and sister devolped asthma, too,
my parents quite smoking.

Of course it can.

Second-hand smoke affects even those with perfectly healthy lungs, so of course it can affect a child with asthma.
