The effects of secondhand smoke are grossly exaggerated. Despite claims by major health organizations and anti-smoking Nazis that thousands and thousands of people die each year due to secondhand smoke exposure, they are unable to provide even a single name of a person who has died from secondhand smoke. My brother and I grew up with both parents smoking, in the house, the car (windows frequently shut), and virtually everywhere else, when you could smoke anywhere (back in the 1970s), and we've always been just fine health-wise.

I say second hand smoke is ok compared to some of the muck that comes out of the back of some of these cars 4x4 for example....

Contrary to the belief of some smokers, but second had smoke can damage the lungs of non-smokers if they are exposed to it a lot. I personally knew a man who died from emphysema and never smoked a day in his life......but his wife did.

Well I'm allergic to smoke so I don't really like it. I try to stay away from it. It usually causes me to have an asthma attack and it causes me to be sick more often. My dad smokes in the house all the time. I hate it. But like my dad always says "You can always get up and leave the room if you don't like it."

I hardly ever see people smoke in public anyway. So those who suffer are propably people who hang round pubs and clubs. They should stay at home and recuperate hehehehe.

Short and sweet: "Boooo!"
Let us have our fresh air fresh and not full of poisons and bits of burnt leaf. Roll on the day when smoking in public places is banned...
