Drinking Games?

What would have to be some of the best drinking games to play with guys and gals ... i have cards, poker chips and a hole lota booz ... so fire away?

Wow, so many to remember from college!

We played one once that you started off with a famous person's name. Say like "Richard Nixon". The next person had to say a celeb's name that started with the last letter of that, so they'd say "Nancy Sinatra", the next person had to use the 'a' in Sinatra, and so forth. It's a very quick game, you had 10 seconds to answer or you had to drink.

Pictionary or Trivial Pursuit was good too. If your team couldn't guess the pic, the team drank. If they did guess, the other team drank. It gets funnier as the night goes on.

Another good one is "Don't say...." Someone picks a word that nobody can use. Like "know". So you ask someone how to change a tire and they say "I don't know" and they're busted and have to drink. Everyone keeps trying to keep their wits about them and not say the chosen word. (This is great in a casual party setting, not sitting down for a game)

Other than that, State of the Union addresses are good. Whenever Bush says "terrah", "immigrant", "Iraq", (preselected words), everyone drinks. It makes listening to him not as bad as sober. :)

We play a game called Spoons, although you can use any kind of item really...but in a large group the spoon fly, so it can be more fun. Take a deck of cards and sort out all the aces, 2s, 3s, etc. If you have 5 people you use Ace to fives, etc. (8 = Ace to 8's) Shuffle the card and deal everyone 4 cards. Sit in a circle or at a table, with the spoons (one less than the total # of players) in the middle. The goal is to get 4 of the same card. (doesn't matter which, ie) all four 3's). Everyone passes one card they don't want to their left and leaves it on the table for the person next to them to pick up. Keep doing this until someone has the set of four. The first person to do so, grabs a spoon...and so does everyone else. The person who didn't get a spoon takes a shot. Note: The game should move quickly!!!

Land mines, kings cup, flip cup, ride the bus <--- that one will f*ck you up hardcore if you have to actually ride the bus, look them up on google, I'm sure most of your friends will know what 3 of the 4 are! P.S. You should just make a ton of panty droppers, you could get cheapy vodka say skull & pour it in pink lemonade, make the pink lemonade first though!!! It's excellent or screw drivers orange juice & vodka, I'm a big vodka fan if you can't tell! P.S.S. Also you could play a game I forget what it's called but it's where everybody takes a shot or just have a drink of whatev you have every minute for an hour.

Fingers.

Fill a glass with 3-4 ounces of beer. Everyone sits/stands around the table with one finger on the glass. One person starts by counting to three, then calling out a number (preferably equal to or less than the total number of fingers on the glass), trying to guess how many fingers will remain on the glass. At the same time, everyone either takes their finger off, or leaves it on. If the number called matches the number of fingers left on the glass, that person is out. Keep going until there is one person left - that person has to drink the beer in the glass, and a new round is started.

Very simple, but very fun game.

Take a paper plate, or any other round thing you can write on, and divide it up into sections like a pie. On each section, write a different shot type drink. Then pin it to the wall and spin it like a wheel. Decide where you want the "it" section to be - topmost, bottom, whatever. We used to do something like this in college, you can incorporate the spinner into other games as well, to make it more interesting than just, "OK, you lose, take ANOTHER shot of tequila". Be careful people don't have TOO much this way, though. Mixing liquor can make you REALLY sick.

i would say spin the bottle is always good for a laugh, freight train is good too but be prepared to get in a right mess cos each time you pick a card a shot of some sort must be downed. it takes bout an hour to finish a game. twister is also good if your drinking, or how bout strip poker. there are loads just take your pick.

If you have a group of at least 8 you can do canoe races. You can do girls against guys. If you do a search out there you should be able to find the rules. Really easy and fun - gaurenteed to get some laughs and to get people drinking.

charades - ok i know it's not really a drinking, but it's a great game to play when you're drinking!!
