I work with a person who has MPD. she freaks me out. I was alone in the break room with her and she changed right in front of me. and she started talking like a little girl. laughing like an idiot. it really freaked me out.
Should i tell my boss that it's her or me? he should fire her or i will quit. i can't work with her what would you do?

I had to work once with someone who had a considerably less problem and it was still painful. My boss sort of needed us both, but we had minimum interaction, which was OK. I suppose this could also work for you.
This person obviously needs professional help and treatment. You might want to talk to her first (very gently--mentally ill persons can be very jumpy), and find out if she is under treatment already. Your boss should make sure that she gets the treatment she needs.
She's probably not possessed, if this is why you posted the question in this section.

Let me ask you something. how would you feel if that was you? how would you feel if it was your Mother your Sister your Wife or another Family member?
A person with MPD does NOT fake anything. it is very real. the abuse is real. people with MPD only want to live Just like anyone else. the only thing is they have been hurt rejected, and made to feel worthless. they believe lies told to them. after all if your told enough times your worthless you believe it. it takes time to try and find peace Just like everyone else has
Is it too much to ask that people with MPD be able to live life in peace and find love Just like anyone else is that too much to ask?
Why don't you put your self in her shoes. she's not doing this for laughs. she must have felt stress at the time she changed. she may have had a flashback. anything could have set this off.
Please try and get to know her. talk to her. BUT give her time to trust you. it may take time. after all she maybe "freaked out ' about you also think about that.
EDIT: I would rather have a bleeding heart then NO heart at all. and BTW I sent your email to yahoo abuse laugh that off

First of all my friend, from your user name, if she did not have MPD, you would only find something else to complain about.
This person does not need more condemnation and abuse...she needs someone to care. As one person asked...do you know why someone becomes MPD? It is from very serve early childhood abuse.
Yes, we do need to be careful that false memories are not planted but I also know that one of the reasons false memories can be planted is because there has to be others with real memories. After all, we would not have counterfeit money if we did not have real money for it to represent.
I also noticed that some say it is not real. Odd, I have found many right here on YA that have it and I think it is far more common then we realize..but most of all, they do not need more abuse...they need someone to care.
They have been rejected most of their lives. They have suffered horrible abuse while other siblings enjoyed the good life. And they have wondered why...where is GOD?
I have had far too many tell me they were worthless and I should run from them.
Please read the first link on MPD. I have also included a message on rejection because this is what they have gotten all of their lives....and my friend...YOU are about to do it again to your co-worker.
My friend..what if it is the last straw she can take? What if this is one of the few jobs she was able to get and she needs it to support her family? Would you be able to look yourself in the mirror every morning if you read her name in the obit section soon after you get her fired?
Most of all...please ask what Jesus would do. They are not monsters nor are the insiders. I have talked to many of them and I assure you, some of these insiders care far more about others then you do. I have had a few clue me in on questions here and as a result, about a dozen people just like you are alife today
Better then getting them fired....talk to them. Get to know them but please do NOT make it a spector sport. Keep it just between you It is hard enough for them as it is and I am also sure, you are not any harder on them then they are on themselves.
Please contact me if you want to really learn how to help them.
If you are MPD. we care about you...and I know GOD does too because I have seen many accept the LORD and find the peace that only Jesus can give..and dozens of their insiders have also found salvation in Jesus Christ with this same peace and joy that instantly overcomes them.
Each of you can find this peace...read the 3rd link
Update...since you see "some bleeding hearts here." I wonder if the person you hate the most is the one you see in a mirror? Why must we have a "bleeding heart" to care about others? Why are you upset because some want to help others instead of knocking them down?
One of those I have been working with that has MPD SAVED a life when she did CPR on someone at a bank. He was in a full code with dozens of people around. No one did anything but one of her insiders helped her save this man's life. What if that man had been you or someone you loved? (an NO that person did not "catch" MPD)

MPD is a questionable diagnosis that a lot of the psychological community (really) doesn't recognize. Regardless, if it makes you uncomfortable you should say something to your boss.

I as I am sure many have serious doubts about dissociative disorder.I find it very hard to believe.Perhaps she is doing this to get attention.I would assume a employer would check before hiring anyone. If you really think this i would have a talk with the boss.
