Dry mouth causes due to lack of water content in your mouth thats why one should drink more water to keep ones mouth wet and coming to the next reason is exposing your mouth to the air and i feel that these all are the main reasons for the mouth to dry

Many medications [ especially antidepressants ]will cause a dry mouth.
Also certain illnesses will cause it too.
There are some new products to help deal with this. There are drops to suck on, mouthwashes and sprays.
