It is a congenital heart defect and it is where both the aorta and pulmonary artery are on the same side of the heart. Also, almost always there is ventricular septal defect. It's also has to do with genetics or can be caused by harmful enviromental toxins. Some symptoms include heart murmur, rapid breathing, fatigue, a bluish tint to the skin and sweating. It can be diagnosed by a cardiologist by doing a series of tests like the EKG among others as well as a physical examination.
