Yes.
Some facts.
It is a virus.
It can be a STD.
Lots of people can get, and had gotten it from blood transfusion.
It is very painful in final stages and very dreaded because it make you ill. It is always fatal.
Final stage may last for 5years.
It may not show any signs for first 5 years. So it is not detected right way. The person can carry it for long time and not knowingly infect many people on the way.

Very susceptible. However, that is not a valid point to discriminate against them. A lot of promiscous behaviour amongst gays takes place because their sexuality is persecuted, so they get fixated on that like a sore point.
Also, gays having sex with men, should be distinguished from men (or straight men, if you please) who have sex with men. Because, while the former is risky because it mostly involves penetrative and promiscous sex, the latter is mostly non-penetrative and often in a male-bond.
