And if Jesus and God aren't the same person/thing, isn't it wrong, per the 1st Commandment, to worship Jesus?

Perhaps I didn't ask my question clearly, since no one is answering what I asked: Jesus knew that he would be crucified then resurrected (he's God, after all). Sacrifice typically means "loss": you lose money, your life, etc. Jesus, as a god, couldn't be killed, so what did he sacrifice?

How about this, what if the Jesus Christ who was sacrificed wasn't even the son of God?

What if he's only the messenger of God?

That would make more sense right.

Why would God the Almighty would want to send down His own spirit to Earth just to be sacrificed..?

If it is to clean humans sins, isn't it seems kinda barbaric to put an end to a human soul for that purpose..?

God who is the Most Compassionate and Just in all matters. Could He be giving away such inhuman method of pleasing Him..?

Think more rather than just accepting points from some sort of severely altered divine revelation writings.

First of all i was just as confused as you, you see there are three people/what ever you want to call it GOD,JESUS, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT there the same thing just not the same person its kinda like a family's last name everyones last name in that family is the same it the same thing but just one name like they have the same first name but you talk about them as one person so JESUS is GODS son and the sacrifice isn't a hoax

in biblical text your playing with matches, problem is that if you get burns from the matches what does it have to do with the love of Christ and drop this rant and move with the programs that make you love religion and hope for your fear will dissipate and have a get Christmas too, life has no answers ever, we just move along to keep the faith why is no answer the right answer because there is only the belief that it gives u, when this happens the questions are gone and the memories are not always things to fear and control, each attempt to give commitment to believe u will receive his empowerment's, be light in spirit

Jesus was the Word made flesh. Most people don't understand what that really means. Literally it means “sound” or “word” in Sanskrit. Esoterically, the Word is the “Sound Current vibrating in all creation. It can be heard by the inner ears.” Variously referred to as the Audible Life Stream, Inner Sound, Sound Current or Word in English, it is the esoteric essence of God which is available to all human beings

Jesus carried the esoteric *essence* of God ... the sound current. He was not God himself.

The best way I can explain it is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Three forms yet all are God. I relate it to water the liquid, water the solid (ice) and water the vapor (steam). Three forms yet they are all water. In doing this God has given opportunity to everyone to have access to God

Jesus and God are the same and different at the same time. That the meaning of Echad --composite unity and triunity.

God is not a schemer no matter what the Koran said. Jesus is God. He said He would die.

God is not man that He should lie.

Jesus sacrifice was real through time for Him. He experienced it. Just as you would. It is heresy to deny either His divinity or His humanity. He experienced the horrible experience.

Jesus sacrifice was God's demonstration of true love and charity to the world.

no, no, no. Jesus Christ is the son of God. God made it so that precious Mother Mary would carry the seed that God would create in her womb, which when he was born, his name was Jesus Christ, Gods son, who he sent down here in human form to try and teach us about his father, and how to live right.another part of God's Ultimate plan was to sacrafise his only son for the sins of you and me.once jesus was sacrifised, he was buried, rose 3 days later, and went up into heaven with his father,God. The bible says to look at Jesus like he is his father, because you can only get to the father through the son, Jesus. in other words, when you pray, pray in the name of Jesus, because Jesus is the father, and the Father is in Jesus. Amen and God bless u for wanting to know!!

No. It is Gods plan to save you from death. To show you how much he loves you.

The only one to hoax you is another person, not God.

Read the Bible. Merry Christmas
