You do nothing. Sometimes it may cure on it's own. Otherwise, you will need antibiotics to cure it.

The best cure is a good antibiotic prescribed by the doctor.

Sometimes inserting plain yogurt into the vagina will help, as that introduces the "good" bacteria to crowd out the "bad" bacteria.

My doctor once recommended inserting a boric acid capsule into the vagina at the first sign of bacterial vaginosis, but I found that to be highly irritating. Boric acid can be nasty stuff.

Your local chemist should be able to give you some over the counter medication for it-for example-Canestine or Diflucan That should help you with itchiness and even pain and be enough until you see your doctor so he can run some tests.
Depending how long you had it, leaving it for to long can and will cause more complications as it can infect your bladder and even kidnies. So seeing doctor about it is very important as you might also need some antibiotics. Beside that, it does not hurt to find out why you have infection, as it could be something else too, =for example STD.
Safe sex is very important, but having infection does not always mean it is from unprotected sex. Tight underwear or any tight clothing on a hot day can do the same. Or not learning how to use properly toilet paper when you have your bowel movement.
Washing is important, especially on hot days.
Good natural help is yogurt with good amount of acidophilus.
Also, drinking good amount of water on hot days is important.

Are you nevertheless making use of pads in the time of your era? it is what's causing the recurrence of the bacteria. My step-daughter is going by skill of this each and each month. both known practitioner and that i have defined you may modify the pad more beneficial many times and attempt to modify it in the course of the evening, also. all the bacteria is sitting up on the point of your body at the same time as you sleep and it has no the position else to flow! attempt to modify more beneficial many times and modify in the course of the evening. See if that helps hon. i recognize that isn't any thrilling to be dealing with this. perchance a substitute to tampons may help, if you may do this today? Then if it extremely is the case, i'd suspect a deodorant contained in the pantyliner or a deodorant cleansing soap or fragranced cleansing soap that you're making use of. attempt no longer to apply them and do not take baths! in the time of a bathtub, your vagina can "soak up" the bubbles or cleansing soap or perhaps the dirty water and some women are very suseptible to bacterial infections from baths. perchance it extremely is the issue?~

You can't! Go to your local Health Dept. It is just a few days of an antibiotic and then you are good. Your partner does not even have to be treated. They are very common and not a big deal! But it does need to be treated!
