hold your breath
drink from the other side of the glass
have someone scare you
a teaspoon of sugar

There are also a pressure points that will relax the muscles that create the hiccups. Take your index and middle finger of both your hands and apply pressure on your forehead...just above your eyebrows on the inside - angle your fingers like this // \\ (palms toward you)...for those that have a unibrow...pretend that you dont. It is not instant - takes a few minutes and you will feel that contraction in your muscles relax.
