Disco ball, strobe lights, fake afros, bell bottoms, Saturday Night Fever, Farrah Fawcett, Donna Summers and the Bee Gees posters. Have some guests come in roller skates. Of course you must have a great DJ with a good variety of disco music. If you are older you could theme it Studio 54 and as a joke have mirrors on the table with fake baby powder in lines with straws and razor blades. (Drug Joke).

party city usually has cool stuff for 70s themes...any party store should have a section with a 70s theme that will give you lots of ideas

Why don't you make them?, or go to yard sales. Pick out stuff like posters, peace signs, black lights, lava lamps, etc....
