After someone is diagnosed with gonorrhea, Why would there still be a clear discharge coming from the penis after 9 days taking in the medication.. first the discharge was a heavy white color on the first fews days, and now it's there's a clear color discharge on the 7th, 8th, and 9th day..There's still some burning sensation when urinating too..Is this a sign that the medication is working?... Is this a sign that the gonorrhea is still there?...Is the clear discharge a sign of the ending of the gonorrhea?.. Please give accurate feed back to this serious concern..Thank you..

that is a sign that the medication is working and dont miss a dode if this cotionues dont heaseate to go back to your doctor there are many medications used now for this and you might need a different antibotic. the choice on this by doctors are cipro..500.m.g. as well .tims.10. days. and clartromicin.500..m.g. times 10. days as well and doxcline.100.m.g. twice dailey for.10. days as well . my opon?

Call the doctor who treated you for the Gonorrhea. He should know. I wouldn't just assume that everything is alright. You may need a longer antibiotic treatment time.

Might be that the prescription isn't working - and even if you miss a single dose, it can effect how well it works! Call the doctor that gave you the meds to begin with, they should be able to prescribe something strong enough . . . are you on doxycycline?

It is now a good possibility that you have a yeast infection. Yeast infections can be caused from overload of antibiotics. If it continues, contact your Dr.
