My wife is Japanese and would like a nice deep fryer for making tempura. What is the nicest one that is easy to clean. Anything I should look for? Small family of three so we don't need anything big.
Thanks

I am asian and I cook a lot of spring roll, fried wonton, tempura etc. The latest one I got was purchased from Walmart which cost me $20, it is the cheapest deep fryer I have had but it is the best one, very plain, has thermsostat, nothing fancy but cooks well for our family of three and even when we have guests

Invest in a fry daddy deep fryer. Safe, last a looooooong time and the heating time and frying tempurature are very good.

Do you have Japanese grocery/gift shop near you?
Their stuff maybe a little more expensive but works well.
