I believe you are showing the signs of diabetes. I have been just recently diagnosed. I would urge you to go to your dr immediately and have him check you for diabetes. But don't let him/her ignore your symptoms. I would also get a glucose monitor and check your own sugar. By doing this you will be able to see exactly which foods effect you and how. These symptoms can also be from your sugar being high and then dropping significatly in a short amount of time. This happened to me 3 days ago and I felt as though I was in a twilight zone. I shook a lot and I was really weak and felt so helpless. Even if you are afraid of needles, the glucose monitor is so easy and you really don't feel the needle at all. Trust me, I HATE needles.

Sounds like you most likely have a two-fold problem--hypoglycemia from not eating, and reative hypoglycemia from a reaction to the food you are eating when you do eat.

You know why I think this? What you describe happens to me day after day, week after week, month after month.

See a doc and see if this is what your problem is. My guess is only a guess, of course. But I know that what has helped me is taking a med that control binging (there are different ones which do this) and remembering to stay away from sugary sweets and simple carbs (as opposed to whole grains) as those can cause the whole cycle to keep occuring.

This is how it happens with me--I eat something "bad" (sweet/bready) and I want to keep eating. The solution is normally to eat small, frequent meals and be careful what it is that you are eating. You can also carry a glucose meter and sugar pills with you if needed.

But again, I'm not a doctor, so would suggest you see one. Good luck, I know it's hard.

get to your doctor immediately, the first symptoms you described are low blood sugar, you can die from this!!! in addition each time you have a low sugar it has to drop even lower before you have symptoms the next time, so i am sure you can understand that eventually you may drop so low before having symptoms that you could slip into a coma. this is nothing to play around with. do not skip meals ever!! and make sure that you have a high protein snack between meals, also keep some glucose tablets with you and invest in a glucose meter and keep it with you always. good luck to you
also when you go to your doctor insist on a 6 hour glucose tolerance test not the 4 hour, you need the 6 hr. test to determine if you are hypoglycemic, since you tested lo normal in the test before, in another hour you might have dropped quite low.

Most of these signs and symptoms sound related to hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) and hyperglycemia (high blood sugar). If this is happening to you often you need to get checked out by a doctor before you end up in a diabetic coma or dead. How old are you?

Diabetes, go see your doctor.......

All your doctor has to do is order an A1C. That's a blood test for diabetes. Another option, get a glucose machine and check your own blood sugar level.

It is vital that you be tested for diabetes. If you leave t hese symptoms untreated, you are very high risk for stroke, heart attack, loss of limbs through amputation, kidney disease, and other health problems. You will feel much better if you get these symptoms under control. Limit your carbohydrates, and see a doctor today.
