RAW GARLIC!

Here's a great recipe:

5-6 large cloves of raw garlic (or more, to taste)
5-6 jalapeno peppers (deveined, and seeded)
5-6 pieces of Deluxe American cheese (other's are 2 oily)
10-12 sprigs of cilantro (or more)
1 cup plain yogurt

blend well, chill for at least 12 hours, then SNARF!

use white corn tortilla chips (or whatever you prefer to dip)

IT'S SO YUMMY I'M GOING TO MAKE IT RIGHT NOW!

As far as foods you can eat at home, fiber cannot be beat. It cleand artery build up very well. Now for something that you may find a little strange but true. I have had this discussion with my doctor who is the one that first told me about it. Get on a low dose statin. It does not matter what kind it is. It helps bring down the total number of cholesterol and raises your HDL. My Dr. told me that he is on it. along with his family and a bunch of friends that he suggested too. It works.

Yes, any food with a lot of fiber is good for this.

Fresh fruits and vegetables, with the skin, bananas.
Whole grains, like oatmeal, brown rice.

They have to be incorporated into your daily eating habits. Don't think of a high fiber meal as the equivalent of cardiac Roto Rooter.

ALL fruits and vegetables have their benefits for a healthy body in many ways. To avoid cholesterol buildup within your blood system, you need to eliminate a fatty diet. Avoid saturated fats, eat monounsaturated, polyunsaturated and drink plenty of water which help move fat along. Most of all, cardio exercise helps build a stronger heart and allow blood to be pumped through more efficiently.

all fruit & veggies are good for your heart and health in general. Fiber is also good to clean out the arteries, same as exercise and lots of water :0)

I don't know of any "food" that can clean out arteries, as much as lifestyle choices. Low fat...prescription meds...no junkfood.

However, you might try loading up the garlic and the oatmeal in your daily diet. I have heard that both are great for vascular/heart health.

Any and all fruits and vegetable that have vitamin C, potassium, sodium, magnesium, iron and sodium should keep your arteries clear.
By eating these, it should clear eventually any deposits, as long as you avoid foods that placed these deposits there in the first place.
