you can discuss with your physician to have a glucose tolerance test done. Basically that is a fasting glucose level, than you drink a very sweet liquid ( kind of a soda with know glucose amount) and have your blood tested after 1 and 2 hours. That can determine if your body can handle your sugar intake in a timely matter.
But to put you a little at ease it can be perfectly normal for a teenager to feel that way you do without being sick. It is part of growing up to be suddenly aware of more things and that is frightening for everyone.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.
Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

It sounds as if your blood glucose was 5.6 mmol/L which equates to 100 mg/dL in American units. This is as you know quite normal. A single reading does not exclude the diagnosis in someone who has symptoms suggestive of diabetes. Your symptoms are not that typical but then again few people have the classic symptoms. The easiest way to alleviate your concern is to have a second blood test specifically a fasting glucose and a glycated hemoglobin A1C. If these are both normal you may be reassured that you do not have diabetes.

I had the same thing your going through. It's in the diabtes family but it's not diabetes with insulin. I ended up with a Pitutary function of the brain where the master gland isn't functioning properly. The master gland controls your entire body with all the functions. When I hit my head mine got damaged and my body changed as I didn't get enough hormones into my body like before. So they ran a blood teat and found that hormones were low in my body and that caused me to get thirsty and pee constantly and I even became more tired. I ended up with Adult Growth Hormone Defiency. Look up Insipidus Diabetes and Pitutary Disorders. Both of those can give you alot of info on side effects and what the condition is about. Also look up Adult Growth Hormone Defiency and that will also give you more information. Go on WebMd.com and look all this up as it will help you. Good Luck!

i am 15 years old and was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 10. For me, i started realising that i have diabetes when i am frequently hungry and thirsty. although i eat alot, i does not seems to put on any weight. instead, i lost weight.i would also wake up several time every night to pee.my urine seems to attract ants and that cause my parents to worry. my parents brought me to A&E and my reading was about 20+mmol/l.....i suggest that u should consult an endocrinologist if u are afraid that u might have diabetes... sugar level of 5.6 is normal...

One type of diabeties is when the body can't make its own sugar. The other is when the body can't use the sugar. Sugar is fuel for the cells, but its found in everything from candy to fruit. Diabeties can be an inherited genetic trait (maybe from a distant ancestor), an issue of being too large for the bodys systems to keep up, or the result of environmental factors on the genetic coding. It doesn't have to run in your family. You don't have to be overweight or expecting. Sometimes, it just happens. But its very serious. If you suspect it, talk to your mom. At your next doctor appointment, don't eat two hours before you go and ask them to test your blood sugar. Its just a little prick of the finger and a drop of blood. The full blown test is usually a fasting blood test, a tube or two of blood usually taken from the inside of the elbow. Some of this also sounds like it could be a thyroid issue. Both can be corrected with medicene and diet. But please don't wait too long. Both also cause serious damage to the body.

If you were just tested, I think it is your "nerves", but here are the symptoms: l - very thirsty, all the time. 2 - going to the bathroom,a lot, but only a little comes out at a time; 3 - you will notice "white spots" on your shoes, or in the urine 4 - you will like "sugar" drinks, but that makes you go even more . Now your telling us that you are "tired" and "sleeping a lot", well YOU DON'T have diabetes, for one thing You couldn't sleep that much, you would be getting up every hour to go to the washroom. So Stop right now, your only 14 years old, and you are becoming a "hypochondriac" - that is a person looking for sympathy through pretending to be ill. - Get on with your "youth", enjoy it, believe me it doesn't last long, and once you start to work for a living you will be working for the rest of your life. So enjoy your youth while you have it and stop this now. Merry Christmas.

You might be overreacting, if you have been tested and there are no symptoms, sometimes when we worry about health issue we get to a point where it seems real. So relax, take a walk, play some type of sport, get your mind on other things.

There is ALWAYS a possibility for something , but you mentioned you were last tested six-months ago. I would say RELAX first and not be so worried, and the have your parents take you to be re-tested. It is important to find out if your immediate family has it.
