YES! You do not know who that person has had sex with. They all say no one! Many people have no symptoms that you can see when they have and pass a std onto someone.

Do you really trust them to tell you the truth about their whole medical history?
If they are truthful and forget someone...

yes, technically STD means sexually transmitted diseases, if you or your boyfriend/ girlfriend are into things like fetish piss, scatting or rubbing that little friend between your toes... bacteria could easily cause disease.
