i have a recipe for a very natural fruitsalad. you need
pineapple
mango
red papaya (yellow will do too)
grapefruit
orange
watermelon
honeydew melon
you will need for 4 person about 200g 1/2 inch cubes of each fruit. mix well together and add 1/2 cup of lemoncito (small lemons) juice to the salad. mix well and chill for at least for hours before you serve it. oranges and grapefruits should be without the white skin. no sugar is needed, because the lemoncito juice has the same effect by drawing fruit juice.....
this fruit salad is extremely refreshing with its slight sour taste, which is more than equalized by the natural frit juices.

Fruit Salad

"Fruit Salad" means different things to different people. In my house, fruit salad was always VERY fresh (like made no more than 2 hourse before the party) and consisted only of freshly cut up fruit. I make mine with watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, grapes, strawberries, all cut up into similar sizes and put into a beautiful glass bowl or punchbowl. Sometimes I will poor a little champagne over the top, makes it very tasty! I would just use whatever fruits you like and that are seasonal in your area.

Autumn Fruit Salad
Ingredients:
2 medium Granny Smith apples
1 cup halved seedles red grapes
1 can (11 ounces) mandarin orange segments, drained
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 container (8 ounces) vanilla low-fat yogurt
Zest of 1 lime
2 tablespoons chopped nuts

Directions:
1.Core and wedge apples using Apple Wedger; cut apples into small pieces.
2.Combine apples, grapes, and mandarin oranges in medium bowl. Add marshmallows, yogurt and lime zest; mix gently. Sprinkle nuts over top. Cover; refrigerate until ready to serve.
Yield: 12 servings

Orange Fruit Cups
Ingredients:
3 oranges
2 cups sliced or cut-up fresh fruit such as apples, bananas, strawberries, kiwi or melon
Flaked coconut (optional)
Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Directions:
1.Use V-Shaped Cutter to cut each orange horizontally in half. Remove orange segments, leaving rind intact.
2.Cut up orange; toss with remaining fruit. Spoon prepared fruit mixture into orange cups. Garnish with coconut or mint leaves, if desired.

The great thing about Fruit Salad is that you use what you like.. I always have pineapple in mine, strawberries, blueberries, cantalope, honeydew.... what ever looks and smells sweet from the supermarket. You really can't go wrong.

Use pineapple, oranges, strawberries, kiwis, apples, melon, grapes, watermelon...or anyother fruit you love.

Then add dried cranberries and fresh blueberries and rasberries and if you want to make a healthy one...just add granola to it..it tastes great ..I buy all my fruit and granola from Whole foods ...its expensive but sooo delicious and you can taste the difference. GOOD LUCK!

You can use honey dew, cantelope, pineapple, red grapes, mango, kiwis, papaya (if in store), star fruit and dragon fruit for garnish. Make it the same day or you will be in trouble, it won't stay fresh!
